Investigation Report: Operation Unicorn

Operation Unicorn considered an allegation that a locally engaged employee at the Australian Embassy in Belgrade was processing visa application based on fraudulent documentation in exchange for money. The investigation did not find any evidence to support this allegation. The investigation did find evidence an Australian based visa processing officer was processing visas contrary to the standard operating procedures and processes. The Integrity Commissioner found this visa processing officer had engaged in corruption of any other kind by engaging in this conduct.
