Operation Venari was a joint investigation by ACLEI and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) into an allegation that classified AFP information had been released to a person of interest in an aggravated robbery. The investigation found that an AFP staff member, Ms Thorn, had improperly accessed the AFP case management system and disclosed AFP information to her sister, Ms Forrest. The investigation also found that Ms Forrest disclosed this information to an associate, solicited further AFP information from Ms Thorn and monitored the AFP case management system for an improper purpose. The investigation did not establish that information had been provided to a person of interest in an aggravated robbery. The Integrity Commissioner found that both Ms Thorn and Ms Forrest engaged in corrupt conduct.

Operation Avon was an investigation by ACLEI into allegations that Australian Border Force officers were engaging in corrupt conduct by assisting a criminal syndicate to import drugs into Australia. The investigation did not substantiate the allegations and as such, no corruption findings were made by the Integrity Commissioner.

It was found that a Home Affairs employee misused their Commonwealth credit card by making 59 personal purchases totalling $1,578. The staff member pleaded guilty and was sentenced by the court. Given the circumstances, no corruption finding was made.
