Operation Walpole considered an allegation that an officer of the Australian Border Force engaged in corrupt conduct during the execution of a search warrant. It was alleged that the officer disposed of white powder contained in a 'deal bag' located in the course of the search. The white powder was alleged to have been flushed down a toilet in the premises, and had been done so in contravention of established procedures and practices. The investigation did not identify that the officer engaged in this conduct for a corrupt purpose. While this behaviour raises significant questions about the officer's judgment, it does not amount to corruption.
